Ha ha! X-Men to the eXtreme!
...Ratner sucks. And so does the script. But they worked as a TEEAAAAMMMM!
Unfortunately it was evident from the first trailer. X-Men 2 was arguably the second best Super hero movie.
And your choice for the first?
Superman IV, Superman IV, SUPERMAN IV!

Sorry Superman IV was not the best superhero movie. That title has been reserved for "Spider-Man 2." "Spider-Man" is also in my top five.
When we went to see the pre-release of "X-Men" back in the day I was disappointed, but not nearly as much as I am just looking at the trailers for X3.
