This is pretty nuts. I consciously avoid superhero comics, but I have been digging the heck out of (Marvel Comics executive editor) Tom Brevoort's blog.

Haha, I actually liked the setup of the government forcing superheroes to register. I could see why this could built into a "civil war." Though it doesn't seem like an event that could be finished up in 4 or 5 comics, it would have to span all heroes and it would probably take a year to resolve.
